The incomes of Ethereum miners are gradually decreasing

According to static data, in February of this year, Ethereum miners managed to earn about $1,19 billion. Almost all of the revenue began to come from subsidies for the block, and only a small part came from transaction fees. The data shows that total revenue has been declining for the past few months.

Compared to last month, revenue fell by 15 percent. At the end of November last year, total revenue was equal to more than two billion dollars and has been falling since then.

Last summer, the maximum revenue was reached, it amounted to more than two and a half billion dollars. Experts suggest that revenue will continue to decline, but it is still unknown how much it will decrease. Most likely, it will be reduced to one billion or less.

In 2022, the income of miners will continue to fall, because in the summer it is planned to switch to PoS. Only large pools of miners with significant resources and powerful equipment for ETH mining have the greatest profit now.
