The National Accelerator Laboratory in the USA has created a special system of boards that makes it possible to dramatically improve the performance of quantum computers, and at the same time reduce the price of equipment for them. Now new types of boards are being developed that can increase the speed of control and data reading for a new generation of quantum computers.
Scientists hope that they will be able to further reduce the cost of equipment that is used to maintain quantum systems. Radio frequency boards of the new generation, which are part of quantum computers, have been developed for six months.
Additional tests of a new type of circuit boards are being conducted now. An interesting feature is that these boards are able to work for a longer time and you need to spend much less resources on their maintenance than before.
The laboratory hopes that their developments will be able to reduce the cost of creating quantum computers. It is believed that quantum computers will be the next stage of the technological revolution, and many companies are already developing such systems.
