The Chinese authorities intend to further increase their presence in space. At least six expeditions will be launched during this year. All of them are designed to complete the construction of their own Tiangong station. In addition, a space telescope will be launched in about a year. According to Chinese officials, in a few years the station will be used for commercial flights from other countries.
The first mission starts start within the next few weeks, a cargo module will be sent, including the necessary components for the construction of the station. The launch of the next astronaut mission is due to take place in the summer.
Another module will be sent in the fall and the remaining missions should be sent by the end of the year. According to Chinese officials, the station will conduct scientific experiments in the field of biology. The station should become the main center for space exploration. Several space missions will be sent regularly every year.
The PRC hopes that in a few years their station can become a center for astronauts from other countries who want to study space and conduct scientific experiments.
